The Guildford Four, the Birmingham Six, Judith Ward, Stephan Kitshlo and many others had all been through this triumphal scene outside the surreal, fairy-tale castle of the Royal Courts of Justice. Although, he was very different, the latest innocent rejoiced and celebrated with all of the enthusiasm of the other victims of English Law.

But his celebrations were to be very short lived.

From within the scrum of cheering supporters and the assembled press, at a very short range, a single shot erupted from a small, silenced, but extremely powerful gun.

He was dead within thirty seconds.
